In pursuit of a decarbonized and sustainable society, the Sustainability Design Department primarily supports national and local governments, as well as pioneering private companies, across the following three key areas: policy review and development, research and planning, and technological innovation. Additionally, we are engaged in projects related to interim storage facilities under the Ministry of the Environment.

Urban Planning and Development
We provide urban planning proposals, as well as policy formulation, detailed measures and project proposals based on objective data analysis and tailored to the specific conditions of each local government. Recently, the intersection of urban planning and decarbonization has become a key area of focus. -
Climate Change Mitigation & Regional Decarbonization
We manage technological development and demonstration projects related to climate change mitigation, conduct potential assessments and implementation planning for renewable energy, and support local governments in formulating and promoting zero-carbon visions. -
SDGs & Nature Positive
We provide comprehensive support, from planning to project implementation, across diverse fields such as urban planning, social systems, and energy technology development, all aligned with global goals including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Nature Positive outcomes.
